  Akira isn't bad... but it isn't great either, it's mall sushi. If you go in with that expectation and the bar set squarely around average you will not be disappointed! That said we go frequently. Bit short on sashimi options, it's salmon or salmon, not sure when the Japanese started putting fried food in sushi? Or canned tuna? Kinda gross... and cheese sauce? Rice is often under cooked and has been at times a little... fishy. Which is odd as it wasn't on 'fish' rolls? That said it's moderately priced and they always have plenty of rolls and trays on hand. Have not eaten in. The girl at the counter could not be less interested in her job or customer service.

  I got takeaway and once home opened the salmon bento box. It was definitely off! The smell was awful so I phoned to let them know and to inform them their fridge may not be working and the response was indifferent and they hung up!!
